A lot of our custom connection solutions are created using off the shelf components from a range of manufacturers for diagnostics and test equipment customers. This is so they can provide a single, ready to use out of the box, solution to the end consumer and to provide additional accessories to the product line. But we also design and create new connection solutions for when the market offers unsuitable connection products.
Solutions can be as simple as providing your own brand/logo on a product, creating a bespoke instrument, lead and connection kits, or complex multi-connection breakout leads. Warwick Test Supplies are passionate about assisting you solve your connection problem so ordinarily do not have a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) or Minimum Order Value (MOV) on stock items. Products that require special production by a supplier, or if we are constrained by a component MOQ they are likely to be subject to additional charges. IC Footprint Mount Case Study: A client had developed and manufactured a bespoke Integrated Circuit (IC). The IC footprint was a non-standard surface mount package with a fine leg pitch. There was a requirement to test the IC whilst in circuit mounted on a double sided PCB surrounded by other close components. Working closely together to fully identify the requirements and specification Warwick Test Supplies designed a 3D model of a bespoke test clip to prove the concept, before manufacturing the product.

Custom Test Lead Sets
A client who manufactures test equipment required a number of custom test lead sets that would accompany the equipment. The lead set was required to be able to connect to or probe the products that the equipment would test and provide accurate results with minimal fuss.
To meet this requirement we identified and used the best of breed components available through three of our franchised distribution partners. Utilising our franchises and manufacturing the final assemblies in this way means that we add value to our franchised distribution capabilities. Doing so means that we can ensure that the final product provided fully meets the required specifications and the client benefits from our discount abilities with our franchises.

Insulation Piercing Wire Taps
A client required a reliable and hard-wearing insulation piercing connection for wires up to 2mm diameter that had specific dimensional and space restraints in use. With nothing suitable off the shelf on the market we designed and manufactured bespoke short and long connection probes using a 7-needle bed of nails as the piercing element.

Remotely Deployed Probe
A locksmith industry client required to ‘tap’ onto a wire to take electrical measurements and provide an input on a specific wire. However, the access to the wires were extremely limited and there was not enough space to use multiple 4mm standard connections. We designed and developed a bespoke system consisting of a tool and a remotely deployed probe. This enabled the client to deploy multiple probes onto multiple wires via a 10mm access space.
